Pollen Parent Blooming Plant |
Culture Notes from Donor: Pod parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)
Pollen parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F). Though I currently grow this "intermediate" due to space constraints, it might be better grown as "cool-intermediate" (58-75°F). I've only had it during the cooler months, and it has rebloomed and started new growth, but the summer may require that I move it to a clearly cooler spot.
Comments: Pollen parent plant: From Ecuador. Small plant.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Ecuador. This orchid was discovered on the lower eastern
slopes of the Andes in Morona-Santiago Province at 2300 ft. (700 m). No
other habitat information was available, but we have assumed the plant was
found in a wet, tropical rainforest region.
