Flask Information |
Availability: |
We have sold all of the flasks for this item. |
You should: |
Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |
Yield Estimate: |
20 plants (based on flask surveys done 11/08/2005 )
|
Plantlet Sizes: |
From many flasks 12 - 25 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 05/19/2006 )

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador. In Venezuela, plants are
found near Merída at about 6550 ft. (2000 m). In Colombia, plants are
found both in the Eastern Cordillera near the border with Venezuela and in
the Western Cordillera near Medellín as well as near Pasto in south, near
the border with Ecuador. Plants in Colombia have been collected at
elevations of 5600-11,500 ft. (1700-3500 m), but most seem to be found at
6550-7550 ft. (2000-2300 m). In Ecuador, plants have been found near both
Quito and Cuenca at 8550-11,500 ft. (2600-3500 m).
