Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F). This plant is mounted but can easily be grown in a pot as well.
Comments: Parent plant: Floriferous and fast growing plant. Easy to grow and flower. Flowers look like little birds sitting in little nests when viewed from the side. Miniature.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. Plants were first collected near Porto Alegre in
Rio Grande do Sul, but it is now known to occur near the coast in the
states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Espírito
Santo. Plants have been found near Rio de Janeiro at about 1300 ft. (400
m).
