Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range W (70-90°F). Plants grow well under medium light.
Comments: Parent plant: Large multiflowered Paphiopedilum from Borneo. Leaf span to forty inches. Tall inflorescence bears 3-4 flowers which open simultaneously. Flowering season is spring to early summer.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Borneo. This species is found only in southeast
Kalimantan, where it grows along the Kapuas River at 1950-3150 ft.
(600-960 m). It is usually found on limestone rocks in hollows filled with
leaf-mold in locations exposed to morning sun but in shade the rest of the
day.
