The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Philippines and Taiwan. In the Philippines, this
orchid grows as an epiphyte on Luzon Island where it is found in the
provinces of Albay, Aurora, Batan, Benguet, Cagayan, Ifugao, Laguna, Nueva
Vizcaya, Pampanga, Quezon, Rizal, Sorsogon, and Zambales at 3300-7550 ft.
(1000-2300 m). On Taiwan, plants have been reported from the south end of
the island on the Haengchun Peninsula as well as from Lanyu Island (Botel
Tobago) where it grow in thickets at 1650-2600 ft. (500-800 m).
