Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)
 
Comments: Parent plant: Fragrant miniature. The actual flowers are quite small- about 1/8 inch diameter, but there are many covering a 6 inch spike, so the effect is nice. (Photo was taken against the top edge of a 4 inch tree fern basket.) This plant has 3 growing points, as it branches as it gets older, and has had about 10 spikes in bloom at once.

Temperatures we attempt to use in the lab & greenhouse:
For Species:   Spring, Summer, Autumn: days average 84°F, nights 73°F; best fit is Warm 90-70°F (Source: Baker's Web OSC)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Comoro Islands. This orchid is found on Anjouan and Grande Comore where it grows in humid forest from near sea level to 1650 ft. (500 m).
