The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Eastern India, Burma, and Thailand. In India, plants are
found in the seasonally dry Manipur region at 2450-3300 ft. (750-1000 m).
They grow on the roots of Renanthera imschootiana Rolfe and on exposed
boulders. In Burma, they have been collected near Moulmein. In Thailand,
plants grow on the Korat Plateau near Nongkhai in the extreme northeastern
part of the country.
