Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)
Comments: Parent plant: Division of the original awarded plant. Grows into very robust clumps, reasonably compact for the species. Throws out multiple leads, and is tolerant of some amount of abuse. Blooms easily and reliably. Wide variety of conditions. Medium-sized plant.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. This species is rather widespread along the east
coast from the State of Pernambuco in the north through Bahia, Espirito
Santo, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. In Espirito Santo, both Miltonia
spectabilis variety spectabilis and Miltonia spectabilis variety moreliana
are found near Cachoeiro de Itapemirim at about 2600 ft. (800 m).
