Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.

You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.

You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had.
Yield Estimate: 170 plants (based on flask surveys done 09/27/2004 through 04/01/2005)
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 5 - 35 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 09/27/2004 through 11/09/2005)
From one most recently surveyed flask 15 - 25 mm (11/09/2005)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. This orchid is found in cool, moist mountain regions of the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul. Plants usually are found on the branches and trunks of trees. Habitat elevation has not been given, so the following climate table and cultural suggestions are based on an estimated elevation and should be used somewhat cautiously.
