The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Philippines. Plants have been found on Luzon where
they grow in the provinces of Aurora, Batten, Benguet, Cagayan, Camarines
Norte, Camarines Sur, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Isabela, Laguna, Mountain
Province, Nueva Vizcaya, Pampanga, Quezon, and Rizal. On Mindanao,
collections have been made in the provinces of Agusan del Norte, Bukidnon,
Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, Lanao del Sur, and Misamis
Occidental. Plants have also been found on the islands of Catanduanes,
Mindoro, Leyte, Negros, and Panay. Throughout their range, plants grow as
epiphytes at elevations up to 7550 ft. (2300 m).
