Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F). Grown in intermediate light.
Comments: Related to epidendrums.
Parent plant: Blooms regularly from October through February. Plant appearance is similar to a reed stem Epidendrum. Reblooms on old canes for several years. Medium-sized plant.

Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana (British Guiana),
Surinam, Colombia Ecuador, and Brazil. In Mexico, collections have been
made in the Gulf of Mexico lowlands in Oaxaca and near Minatitlan in the
State of Vera Cruz.
