Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range W (70-90°F)
Comments: This species should be in every orchid collection, because of its ease of culture, adaptability, and intoxicating fragrance at night. This selfing of this very good grandiflora-type nodosa should result in a generally good population.
Parent plant: Medium-sized plant. Plant is the offspring of B. nodosa 'Susan Fuchs' FCC/AOS and B. nodosa 'Mas Mejor' AM/AOS.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, the Pacific
side of Panama and its islands. Plants grow as on trees in wet lowland
forests, and collections are reported near Rivas, Nicaragua at 180 ft. (55
m).
