ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico. This epiphytic orchid is found in oak and pine
forests in he western states of Durango, Sinaloa, and Nayarit where it
grows in the Sierra Madre de Occidente at 5900-6550 ft. (1800-2000 m).
