The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Peru and Ecuador. This epiphytic species was first
collected in Peru in the Department of San Martín. The plants were growing
in wet lowland forests between Moyobamba and Tarapoto. Another population
has since been found in Morona-Santiago Province in southeastern Ecuador
where they were growing in the forest above Sucua. Plants in both areas
grow at 3300 ft. (1000 m).
