The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Thailand. Plants have been collected in extreme
northeastern Thailand and in the southern mainland region near
Prachinburi. Unfortunately, habitat elevation has not been reported, so
the following climate table and cultural suggestions are based on an
estimated elevation and should be used somewhat cautiously. Writers have
reported that other species in the genus require intermediate to warm
conditions, however, so our estimated values probably are not too far off.
