The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Laos and Vietnam. Plants were reportedly found near Pak Song, Laos, not far west of the border with central Vietnam and have been found in Thai Nguyen Province in Vietnam where they were growing in wet evergreen cloudforest for vertical bluffs of granite and other lime-free rocks at about 3300 ft. (1000 m).
