ORIGIN/HABITAT: Ecuador. This orchid is found in the Andes in the
provinces of Imbabura and Pichincha at 3300-8200 ft. (1000-2500 m). The
type specimen was discovered in cloudforest in Pichincha province at 6900
ft. (2100 m).
