ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Philippine Islands. Found on the southeast side of
Palawan Island near Brooke's Point at 1950-3100 ft. (600-950 m). Plants
grow in leaf mold and detritus on limestone rocks. While they often grow
in exposed situations, they are seldom found in direct sunlight.
