Plant is a division of 'Oaxaca' CBR/AOS from Marilyn LeDoux of Windy Hill. Compared to the 'Windy Hill' cultivar, 'Oaxaca' seems to have a less tidy growth habit, with longer stolons and greater spacing between leaves. The pouch also appears slightly more elongated. Small plant. |
Donor's culture notes: |
Temperature range Warm 90-70°F, cooler season Intermediate 83-60°F. Grown under T5 lighting during past year, previously a windowsill plant. Potted in Marilyn LeDoux's cultural mix, presumably as found in LeDoux, M. 1996 Phragmipedium xerophyticum and its Culture. Orchid Digest 59 (3): 108-110... fir bark, charcoal, and perlite in that order of magnitude. |
