Temperature range Warm 90-70°F, cooler season Cold-Frigid 52-32°F. This plant was a nursery-purchased seedling. It languished for 2 or 3 years in a woodland pine duff bed alongside Cypripedium acaule, surviving but not thriving. It exploded with growth and vigor after being moved to the sunny bog bed. Grows in full sun alongside Sarracenia, Calopogon, and Pogonia, in constructed peat bog bed, with peat, sand, and of course water. |
