This is the true Staurochilus guibertii. It is a fairly rare species in the U.S.A. It grows quite large (up to 5 feet) and throws a lot of basal offshoots. It produces large panicles of up to fifty 2 to 2-1/2 inch flowers. It is also very fragrant. |
