Comments: |
'Kristin Marie' was awarded a JC by the AOS because each inflorescence had 5 to 8 flowers. This is unusually floriferous for this species. 'Kristin Marie' was crossed with a bicolor that has superior flower size in hopes of getting many LARGER flowers per inflorescence.
Leptotes bicolor is a fast growing plant that blooms in late winter or spring. It is compact, fragrant, and the flowers last 4 to 6 weeks. Small plant. |
Donor's culture notes: |
Temperature range CI (58-75°F). It is best grown intermediate, mounted or in a basket with no media. It likes bright light up to 3000 foot candles, but will bloom with less. High humidity is helpful, as is with most mounted plants. |
Unique ID: |
