This species, discovered in 1968, is related to Ascocentrum pumilum and Ascocentrum himalaicum. It has long (10-20 cm) terete leaves, and is usually pendant. The flowers are magenta-purple or pale purple-lilac. Medium-sized plant. |

Temperature range I (60-83°F). I grow it, and several other of the same species, with my other Ascocentrum species. |
